What surfaces does Sticktec work on?

Sticktec will work on just about any surface so long as it is reasonably flat.

Surfaces like mirrors and walls area ideal but it will also stick to wood and brick.

The surface does not need to be smooth but it does need to be flat. For example it will stick to a textured wall that is flat but not a smooth car dashboard that is curved.

This is because the Nanopad needs to completely cover a surface which it cannot do on curved surfaces.

How many times can I use Sticktec?

As you use the Nanopads they will pick up dust and debris which reduces performance. Simply wash them in cold water to restore them to being as good as new.

Each Nanopad has a total lifetime of 100+ uses before they start to degrade but this varies depending on the material used on and if they have been damaged.

Additional Nanopads are available for purchase at a very reasonable price if more are required.

How do I wash the Nanopads?

Simply wash them in cold water and rub off any debris. Then allow to dry and it will return to being as good as new.

Do the Nanopads use glue or leave any residue?

The Nanopads don't use any glue or leave behind any residue.

How do I remove Sticktec from a surface safely?

It is incredibly important to follow the instructions provided in the kit to avoid damaging surfaces or the magsafe adaptor.

To remove your phone from the holder you must slide it sideways parallel to the surface. Do not pull it directly off the surface towards you. Doing so can cause the magsafe adaptor glue to fail.

Secondly to remove the device itself from the surface you should twist it until it pops off. The Nanopads are incredibly strong and can damage walls if you try to pull it off with force. However simply twist and it will pop off nicely.

Can I use Sticktec in my car?

No, Sticktec is not an automobile cradle and does not try to be. There are plenty of great specialist devices out there to use in your car.

Is Sticktec strong enough to hold my phone?

On ideal materials such as glass painted walls and metal Sticktec is incredibly strong and can even hold a phone and a bottle of water. Please click this link to be taken to the video.

However on other materials such as bark and leather etc judgment should be used.

The correct method is to stick the device to the surface and simulate the weight of a phone by pulling down on it. This will give you an idea of how secure the surface is.
